Internet Junkyard turns browsing useless websites into a small game. Pick a path, read a clue, reveal a real useless website, visit it, then rate it when you come back. Every site you find goes into your collection, and the next mystery is waiting right after.
How does the random useless website button work?
Press Start wasting time or Surprise me, the junkyard's own bored button, and it picks a random useless website from 120 hand-picked sites. You get a clue before the reveal, recent picks are not repeated, and every now and then something rare turns up.
What is a useless website?
A useless website is a page built with real effort and no practical purpose. It does one strange thing, like unrolling a toilet roll or pointing at your cursor, and nothing else. It will not save you time or sell you anything. If it makes you ask "why does this exist?", it counts.
What is the most useless website in the world?

Why do some useless websites stop working?
Most are side projects, so they vanish when the domain expires, nobody pays the hosting bill or the tech they relied on, like Flash, dies. Expired domains often get bought by spammers. Broken sites are pulled from the junkyard, and the survivors live in the old internet websites pile.
Is Internet Junkyard free, and does it work on phones?
Yes to both. No account, no download, no coins and no XP. The game runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers, and your collection is saved in that browser. School and work networks sometimes block external sites, so a few reveals may not open there.
